I was in the living room when I heard a noise coming from the kitchen. I went in to see Rachel standing on top of the small cooler where she had reached the rattle (coins in a drink can, in this case V8 juice) I had made a long time ago to discipline Scout (it didn’t really work, though). Of course I snapped a couple of pictures.
That reminded me that I had gotten requests from those who live far away and have not seen Rachel walking that they wanted to see that too, so I took two movies. The first is her walking a little (still holding the rattle), and the second is some of the sign language she knows.
She knows how to sign “Daddy”, “eat”, “more” and “milk” too, but she is not perfectly consistent on those.
That Rachel is really getting to be a smart one. Figuring out how to use the cooler as a stepping stool. We’re going to have to keep an eye on her.
How cool is that? Rachel is the little smartypants. She looks so happy. You and Jeff are great parents.
That is so cute! She is amazing! I love her bangs by the way. She is not only smart but also very cute.
