We have finally joined the CCC. (That’s the Cheerios at Church Club.) After a rather difficult time getting Rachel to eat solids, we seem to finally be making headway. She finished an entire can of applesauce today (half for breakfast and half for supper), and while Jeff and I were eating our supper we fed Rachel cheerios, but this time she actually ate them rather than just scatter them everywhere. Well, actually she scattered them everywhere first, but when I put them in her mouth this time she actually swallowed them and didn’t spit them out. A lot of saliva was produced during the entire procedure.
So heeeeeeeeeerrrrrrre’s Rachel!
She eats now! she is so dang cute. I keep saying that but DANG!
Keep the food coming!
one more thing, her outfit is adorable!
Cheerios are good and all, but I have found that Gerber puffs (fruit and veg flavors) are really good for new solid food eaters. They melt in their mouths. And they taste pretty good. Here is a link (if it doesn’t work, just google it) to that product:

I have had a few people tell me about the gerber puffs. I am told you can get them at Wal-Mart, which I intend to do, but haven’t done it yet. Everybody has given that product rave reviews, so I look forward to trying it now that Rachel will eat a little. Before yesterday it was an exercise in futility.
YAY!! Progress! I’m so happy you’ve joined the club. It is so nice to be able to give your baby finger foods (especially if you are away from home or in the car) to tide them over when they are starving.
Good Job Rachel!
oh my gosh those facial expressions just make me burst out loud with laughter!
Welcome! We are about to leave the club however (to Sam’s major disappointment–he steals Molly’s snacks). Next is goldfish for you.
She is tooooooooo Cute!!!
